Blue Apple Beach

The beach club at Blue Apple

The Barbie of beach clubs (she does so much more than beach)

Townhouse's big sister isleña. Blue Apple Beach is a Beach Club and Hotel Boutique on Tierra Bomba, next to Bocachica Village — a 30-minute boat ride from Cartagena, not at the hotel itself.

She's home to Fundación Green Apple, B-Corp certified, and top-listed in MICHELIN, Condé Nast and TripAdvisor — both hotel and restaurant. Solar-powered, zero-waste driven, and proudly owned by a black, female British-Trinidadian entrepreneur who resides in Tierra Bomba.

You can go there to do pretty much anything — yes, horse treks and scuba too. Weekdays are more tranquil, while weekends bring a DJ and a brighter, livelier vibe. You can get there on your own boat or via their shuttle service at convenient morning hours, not as early as you'd need to leave for the Rosario Islands. Her location means you can swing by on your way back from Rosario for a late lunch or a sunset toast with their uninterrupted ocean view.

Access is by day pass rather than included with a Townhouse stay.
